Brawl Stars Deleted

← Back to home

I'm happy and a little sad to say, I have deleted Brawl Stars from my device. I have been playing since December 2018 and unfortunately have spent way too much time and way too much money on it.

The trophy chasing, the next brawler goal, the reaching 500+ for a new brawler, the getting the star power, the getting the gadgets, the new maps. The minor goals they would create and now with the quests that would put brawlers out of order on your list because they have a quest, so you would have to do their quest to get the brawler order correct. The time you would spend to get to the next level for the brawler, the chase to get to the top of the leaderboards, the chase to get to be the top of your clan, or get to 20k so you can join that one elusive clan. As soon as I get to... It was a psychological brilliant strategy for people who are obsessed with goals and completing tasks. The people on the spectrum who don't know why they are driven, but we keep going to finish.

I watched the Social Dilemma and then watched Terms and Conditions need apply. Since then, I have deleted my Facebook, my Instagram, my TikTok, and removed all of the apps (to the best of my knowledge). I do still have twitter and LinkedIn. I will no longer post any story to LinkedIn moving forward.

I write here because it is my blog, my thoughts, and not really for anyone to comment on, share, or even read. If you get something out it great. I don't need to know and I hope you do enjoy what I write.
